    Also good for a heat proof dish

    I was looking for an alternative for candle and incense holders and suddenly it dawned on me that of course, an ashtray would work to, you know, catch ashes? So after looking at cooking dishes, it dawned on me that of course, an ashtray would work. These are basic, well made, heavy glass ashtrays. If you're burning a candle and need to pour out some melted wax before it runs over? The slots are perfect for that! I had quit smoking years earlier so we didn't have any ashtrays in the house anymore because there was no need, until I needed a fire safe dish! These are fairly large and very heavy. They're a good quality dish and the 2 pack is very convenient.

    Work Great! I recommend!

    While unpacking in our new home, I realized I had not packed a single ashtray. We were using an aluminum lid until I purchased these forcing me to think quickly! I sought through several different materials of ashtrays before determining that glass was my best option. I seen many of the other materials were quick to melt or stain.We have 4 regular smokers in the home currently using only these two glass ashtrays while home (I am the only one who is working from home, so I use them most often). I have them placed on opposite sides of the sofa in the living room for easy access.There are four slots to hold your cigarette on each ashtray (And yes they do fit comfortably). I wouldn't suggest trying to put a cigar in them, but regular cigarette filters are a perfect fit. There is a little bit of weight to each of these which tells me the glass is rather thick (again a positive attribute). These are perfect for 1-2 people to use at a time. With 4 regular smokers in the home, I empty each of these once a day to avoid an overflow of cigarette butts (nobody likes picking these up off of a stand or floor). We have placed these on the end tables, floor, sofa cushion (we have a sectional so those in the middle cannot reach the end stands) and have not had any issues. Otherwise these are pretty basic glass ashtrays. I would recommend to anyone who smokes cigarettes for indoor or outdoor usage.I attached a photo below after my daily emptying of them, sorry for the ash residue as I haven't washed them, but wanted to give everyone an idea of the size and shape of these first person!
