Well made 3 piece Bistro Set that looks really good

The reviews I did not read until after assembling and nearly all said it took two to do the chairs.They bolt together with plastic screws and were quite a solid unit. As we are all giants in the family I did replace the 8 plastic bolts with steel ones for a few pounds. Also In a windy area so wanted to improve.Yes for the price not a bad buy.No mension of self assembly on Homega site.

All fitted together easily. No additional tools required. Very pleased. The only negative comment is about the thin poorly fitted seat covers. They should be thicker and fit more snuggly. Apart from that, a well made garden furniture set.

requires assembly

As previous people have said - I don't dislike anything about the product - BUT , it was ordered as a surprise present for a 90 year old. The bullet points distinctly have'Assembly required' NO !! however that is not the case. Fortunately there were a few people around to do the assembly. Not easy - it took brut force! Disappointiong that we had to do the assembly - once put together it's good for the money ! Think it's time it was changed in the bullet points.

Box was damaged on arrival,but all items intacked, I was dreading the assembly of this item after reading the negative reviews, although,I would say easy to assemble if two people are doing it as need bit strength to clip into place. Quite difficult to assemble

Good product which arrives part assembled. Table simple to assemble as was one chair. Other chair required 2 people assembly as one hole was out of line. Whilst one pushed the holes to line up the other person could put the bolt through the hole. Once assembled though I feel it is a good product.

I received the garden set on time and thought it would be straight forward to put together but it is still in pieces in my lounge. I had to email the seller for the instructions as they are on the box and were half covered by the fragile tape. I have arthritis in my hands so I cannot slot the pieces together also there are small pieces to to hold it in place which I cannot manage to hold with my arthritic fingers. I now have to pay someone to assemble it and he cannot do this until the weekend so I am unable to enjoy sitting on the chairs. I think it will look nice once assembled. I cannot comment on sturdiness until I am able to sit on the chairs and as they are in my lounge I do not know whether they are weather proof but I did purchase a cover. I will comment on both at a later date. The seller came back quickly when asked for instructions. I‚Äôve only given 4 stars as I am a bit disappointed with the assembly as I thought it would be simple.

This really is a good value product.My problem was that the items were flat-packed SO tightly into the box that one of the chairs had warped in transit and was out of shape. Anyone not used to assembling awkward objects will struggle but the end result is fine.

Absolutely delighted with this beautiful looking garden set.

Initially on opening the packaging it wasn‚Äôt exactly as I expected, it‚Äôs not real wicker (well it wouldn‚Äôt be for this price, so I incorrectly assumed that when I ordered) HOWEVER‚Ä¶‚Ä¶‚Ä¶and it‚Äôs a big however, when unpacked, all the items (two chairs and matching chalk coffee table) was SUPER easy to assemble, the plastic wicker effect actually does look really authentic and durable and the furniture felt very sturdy and stable when put together.Now that it is placed nicely on our patio, I feel as if it achieves quite a high quality look about it. DO NOT be out of by the fact it is plastic, as it is a really really authentic wicker look and actually more weather proof that wicker which is ideal. Very happy with the overall value for money of this lovely looking set.

Exactly what we wanted

Very sturdy chairs

Only lost a star due to difficulty during assembly. Be ready to have some muscle with you! I only managed because I'm a stubborn woman!Once built though the chairs are sturdy and solid but lightweight enough to move easily.I wouldn't want to sit in them for too long as the backs are pretty short so could be uncomfortable but fine for a meal or a coffee outside. We're using them as conservatory furniture until the weather picks up so can't comment on how weather proof they are. However, seeing as they're plastic I can't see weather being a problem for them. Even the connecting nuts and screws are plastic!(very strong though)Overall I'm really happy.

Nice garden set.

Firstly I wasn't to impressed arriving home to find the parcel sat on my door step.As it had been raining the box was soaked so had to put it up straight away.It's made from hard plastic which is strong. The holes didn't line up properly so there was lots off bending plus took two off us one person to hold it in place whilst the other screwed it together.Apart from all that it looks great up. I've not been able to properly use them as yet due to the rain but they fit perfectly in my little sitting corner. The cushions are OK but quite flat so il buy different ones. But im happy with my purchase.Next day finding out the cushions when wet created bubbles like fairy liquid all on the chairs. And when touching the cushions they are very slimy, I don't know what it is.

NOT Ratten!!

Plastic moulded to look like Ratten hence the relatively low price. That said once assembled it does the job and the chairs and table can be left out in all weathers. Assembly is worthy of more comment, since this proved to be a struggle, since the mouldings did not always line up to allow easy insertion of the plastic plugs that hold everything together. Some brute force and levering with a big screwdriver proved necessary to finally get the job finished. I note one earlier review that suggested not bothering with the plugs, but I do not agree that this would result in a suitably strong and stable end product. Two rather thin foam cushions (not weatherproof) are included and you can easily improve the comfort by adding your own extra cushions. For the price, not a bad product and for once something that is not made in China (comes from Italy). Can be recommended if you don't want to spend silly money and can cope with the assembly issues.

Nice chairs, comfortable and sturdy but not easy to build as the pieces didn't quite fit (contacted seller for advice but no response) and needed lots of pushing and pulling into place. Saying that, on my own (and I'm no spring chicken) and in the heat, I managed! Added bright waterproof cushions but really needs rectangular ones ( on their way!)

Delivery super quick, bit fiddly and you got to be strong to line up the screws for seat part. But once together it's absolutely perfect for our garden. It's rattan effect so not rattan itself but very hard sturdy plastic but certainly looks the part. Instructions are on the side of the box too not on paper. Would definitely recommend

For the very little amount this cost to buy which was just over ¬£100 this little set is absolutely fine. Very easy to assemble and comfortable and sturdy. The people who are giving bad reviews need to wake up. If they expect absolute top class they would have to fork out around ¬£500. The set is cheap and cheerful and I thsnk you.

The instructions for assembly are on the outside of the box it is delivered in

it is easy to assemble but I didn't find the instructions until I had asssembled it as they are on the box it is delivered in! it is fairly sturdy and does look nice. the cushions are ok but it looks better with added back cushions and this also makes it more comfortable. It will be easy to keep clean and is very good value for money
